Descripción: Belonging to chef Mario Torres and his sons Mario Javier and Fabian, they offer an authentic revival of Canarian recipes. An establishment run by a long succession of restauranteurs, who recapture the atmosphere of a former age where his grandmother and great-grandmother, respectively, began 80 years ago, a simple house serving good meals whilst laying the foundations of a rich family history. The name of the new restaurant has been especially chosen to encapsulate the memory of the grandmother, Dona Ceferina Martin. The Torres family are excellent connoisseurs, Mario senior has been head chef in his restaurant - La Bodega de Mario (open in 1980), Marisqeria Mario (1983), Bodeguita de Enfrente (taken over by his sons in 1999), el Meson Donde Mario (2001) and also the restaurant Los Corales, which was founded by his parents. In El Calderito de la Abuela (2005) food is served in old style pots and pans from a bygone age.

Nicola Picciau nace en Milán en 1978 y desde muy joven se apasiona por la cocina gracias a la tradición familiar heredada de sus ancestros. Su primera escuela gastronómica fue la granja de su abuela en Cerdeña, donde alimentaban al ganado y satisfacían los paladares de su numerosa familia con recetas típicas mediterráneas.
