Descripción: This half hidden beautiful centenary house does not go unnoticed in the North, its success has gone far, recently the name was reproduced in the Spanish Capital, where Juan and Giorgio have inaugurated an avant-garde restaurant with elegant overtones, which has quickly become successful. For those who go to Madrid, the new Rosa Di Bari is in the Calle Libertad 3, in the lively area of Chueca. Chef Giorgio is characterised by his wide knowledge of Italian products and for his mastery of key preperation techniques that large kitchens in his country show, and that endorses his success. He is respectful of genre, although he supports that "it is neccessary to be carefully intrepid at the time of experimenting with new flavours of eminent Italian recipes, from where another "star" dish could come". His scallops are perfect with "boletus" gratin, as well as the fresh tagliatelle with lobster from his own fish farm, and the Amareto sweet with Gran Marnier creme is captivating.

I am an Italian old lady, already retired, and for short periods of time I'm now living in Puerto de la Cruz. My friends, believe me: 'la Rosa di Bari' is the only restaurant in Puerto that may be called 'Italian restaurant'. Giorgio, the Chef, still gives me the flavours of my youth even with his creative new recipes! Moreover, there is Juan who guarantees the warmest atmosphere. I strongly reccomend you to go and try. Nicola Picciau nace en Milán en 1978 y desde muy joven se apasiona por la cocina gracias a la tradición familiar heredada de sus ancestros. Su primera escuela gastronómica fue la granja de su abuela en Cerdeña, donde alimentaban al ganado y satisfacían los paladares de su numerosa familia con recetas típicas mediterráneas.
