Descripción: There is no doubt that for choice and courteous attention this is a great Tavern, it has been awarded prizes for its authenticity and delicious dishes, also for rescuing and protecting traditional recipes. It is a place where one can combine appetisers and main dishes well, and where they perform real miracles in the art of confectionart for dessert, a must for many diners. They offer a wonderful version of "rabo de toro" - oxtail casserole, also carious options like "carrillada de cerdo Iberico" a very popular pork recipe, also a remarkable "solomillo a la teja" just a few of their exceptional preparations. Some good alternatives for appetisers are "chipirones en su tinta" - baby squid or "pimientos del piquillo rellenos" stuffed peppers, and the obvious Iberian sausages from the pastures of Extremedura. The excellent wines from "Las Rejas" deserve a page of their own. If you allow us to make a suggestion, this restaurant provides the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable feast.

I have been visiting this restaurant, on my annual visit to Tenerife, since it first opened. I have never left there without having had excellent service, fantastic food and a great Canarian atmosphere. Pena and his team are the epitome of how a restaurant should be run.

This restaurant is typically canarian. Very busy and very good food. Mainly meat on the menu - a wide variety of dishes which are cooked very well. I don't remember much fish on the menu, if any. Excellent service. We went on a Friday night and it was buzzing. Full of both locals and British ex pats and very popular with both.
